Music Video- Esther Faith "Back to Love"

This is the last project I worked on for my multimedia class, and I gotta say, it's one that I'm more proud of than just about anything else I've worked on. It was shot just last weekend in Kitty Hawk, NC by my good friends Daniel Williams, Caroline Simmons, and myself. Both photographers who I am very proud to work with. We shot a music video for Esther Faith, an incredible artist who it was such an honor to work with. We all had such a great time getting to know eachother. This is what we came up with. Enjoy!!

Esther Faith "Back To Love"

The End of a Chapter

Well, today is the last day of actual class I had at RCC. It's bittersweet for obvious reasons. It's been a long and challenging road, that sometimes seemed impossible. But we did it! I have made friends with people that I never would've known otherwise. And many of those friendships I'm sure will last for the rest of my life. I cannot thank the staff at RCC enough for their commitment to making real photographers out of people who have that potential. They gave us the solid foundation that takes us to the next level. I am so proud to have been apart of such a great establishment. Now, I have one more 8-week internship left. Over the summer I will put together my final portfolio for school. Then it's off to the real world!

Another Adidas Video Piece

This is another piece I designed in Photoshop. I took the shoe from a separate image and crated any "light" you see from a black background in Photoshop. I hope to have the finished video up soon!

Adidas Video Piece

This is a a version of the Adidas logo i designed in Photoshop. It will be used along with several other similar pieces in a stop motion video for class.

Fossil Watch

I shot this today for an assignment we had that required us to shoot either flowers, furniture, a cold beverage or jewelry. I decided to shoot my watch because I havent shot much jewelry and i wanted to get some experience in that area. It's tough to light it the right way, especially without showin blemishes. This is not close to perfect but in the hour and a half I had to shoot it, this will have to do.

Gatorade

I shot this gatorade for class today in the studio. Our assignment was to try to duplicate an ad. The ad I attempted to duplicate was tough! So this image is a composite of about 5 different images, but it turned out nicely.

Daniel

For this assignment we had ten minutes to shoot whatever style of portrait we liked, using only one light. These are a couple different ones I came up with.

Air

This shot was for an assignment where we had to illustrate how by surrendering to the air, we can harness it's energy to help the environment.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I shot this cheese cake for my first assignment in my Advertising Photography class. We are required to shoot some type of desert, and to have a clear sense of time and place. My lighting set up got a little complicated but some times thats what you have to do to get the look you want. I am pleased with how it turned out. Thanx for lookin, let me know what you think!

Fire House Snow

I did this shot of my sister's miniature snow village on christmas eve night. I couldn't wait to use my new lens!

Fall Fashion Shoot

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I did this shot for my 5th self promo. I wanted to do an ad for a new line of clothes coming out this fall for a store like American Eagle Outfitters. I have been familiar with their advertising and photography for a few years and have always wanted to try. I am pretty happy with how this one turned out. Thanx to my girlfriend Catherine for modeling for me and once again doing a great job!!

Laura

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

This is a shot from a senior portrait shoot I had with Laura last weekend. This one is in North Davidson, at the last location we went to. She ha to stand still for this one because we were running out of light, but it turned out good. It was a fun shoot!

Why did the chickens cross the road?

For my photographic illustration class, we had to shoot 12 eggs in any way we liked. I did a 10 second exposure at f/1.8. The eggs were lit by a street light in the distance. I also shot this in the rain and my good buddy John Couch held the umbrella over me and my camera while I shot. Thanx mane!

The Xbox 360 Elite

For my Self Promo 4, I decided to shoot an Xbox. I was originally planning to do a normal studio shot. Then i talked to my instructor, Chuck. He told me to NOT shoot a normal boring studio shot, and he really challenged me to do something no one had ever done, and make it exciting. So you might could say i did that, or atleast tried. This photo consists of 3 separate images. One shot for the smoke, and one for the fire. They were both shot at the same location. The third shot was the xbox which i shot in the studio. I did my best to match the light in the studio with the light that i used on location (which was my car head lights). The smoke came from a bottle rocket(firework) that my friend Daniel held down for me. The fire came from gasoline. We had t try it only 3 times to get it right!! Over all I was pretty happy with how real we were able to get it to look.
